The Waddens Sea
The Wadden Sea is a completely unique place in Denmark. Here the landscape is shaped by the tides. High tide and low tide 2 times a day in a constant shift – the mudflats are flooded at high tide and exposed at low tide – and this constant shift creates food for an enormous number of wading birds that roost here.
