Here I am in the most amazing landscape. There is nothing here and yet so much – I find it difficult to describe. Imagine a landscape that constantly changes shape. A place that invites to reflection and wonder. A place that reminds us that we are part of something bigger. A place that tells stories about the passage of time and the power of nature. Such a place is Koresand.
Kore Sand
Koresand is a high sand of approx. 20 km2, located southwest of Mandø. During a storm, the sand bank is flooded, which prevents the growth of plants and the formation of permanent dunes. This creates a landscape so barren and desolate that it is hard to imagine a more isolated place in Denmark.
