The Kartoffelrækkerne are located on Østerbro at the lakes in Copenhagen. The houses were build in 1872-1889, and there are 480 houses. The picture “Kartoffelrækkerne” is taken from a small plane and is one of Henrik Schurmann’s most famous photographs.
